| - Added a configuration options: Request Timeout a Async Mode. The request timeout is used to define the maximum time to get the RSS feed. However, when doing the test, it seems the most time consuming task is not retrieve the feed, in most cases it is time consuming to retrieve the images and generate the thumbnails. Therefore, I added another option called Async Mode. When checked, the thumbnail retrieving and generating will be in a different thread thus speed up the paging loading. This has pros and cons. The good thing is page will not be blocked when retrieving the image and the disadvantage is when first loading the feed, image may not be available since the thumbnail has not been generated yet. |
