Remove default required fields  (United Kingdom)
I'm trying to get rid of the red asterisks after the 'your name' and 'your email' fields - which are default.
  • I've tried to delete the fields and recreate them - Doesn't work
  • Tried selecting the colour of the [REQITEM]  to be white - Doesn't work
  • Tried removing the [REQITEM] completely - get the error :
'There are missing Tokens for the form elements. Be sure that there is one of each [ITEMNAME] [ITEM] [REQITEM]'

Does anyone know how I can get rid of these asterisks?

Thank in advance.

Re: Remove default required fields  (Australia)
Unfortunately, Your Name and Your Email are two basic elements required for an email to be sent. These cannot be optional.

That being said, we are open to suggestion on an alternative solution to this. Do you have any ideas?

Yeh.  Make them not required.  And add a hidden option for them.  An email from default could be set on edit page.  The option for users to send anonymous comments would be a good one.

We will keep this in mind for future updates. However it may be better for us to give a seperate module for this type of feedback and perhaps rating etc.
