Is there any way to show the panel once the user has logged in?  Currently, once logged in the panel disappears.  If it remained....perhaps it could contain one or more content panes to place user specific content within it.  Sort of an idea place for things like links to account maintenance, my messages, my groups, etc.

Also, the tab could change to show the logged in user's name as well as a logout link.

Currently no, and we have thought about this one as it is indeed a good idea.

The problem we faced is that we need to interact with the DNN user management system in a standard way, but DNN has changed this a lot over the releases of dnn 4.5.5 through to the current version. Because our module sells to all version, it is not possible for us to keep back support and do this at the same time.

For now, we have elected to think about breaking this into another module for late versions of DNN only.

I second this too.  Would be great to have just the username and logout link as suggested by Steven.

Hi, on my website needed this operation by adding the following lines insignin.ascx:

Welcome, <asp:HyperLink ID="lnkProfile" runat ="server" rel="" ></asp:HyperLink> | <a href="/logoff.aspx">Logout</a>

and from the module configuration MODIFY LOGIN ADVANCED SETTINGS-> tabLookAndFeel -> Link Style Profile: selected text "Edit Profile".

When the user enters the web site is displayed as follows: Welcome, Edit Profile | Logout.

I want to change the text "Edit Profile" to "FirstName". How I can do? I can use an token in MODIFY LOGIN ADVANCED SETTINGS-> tabLookAndFeel -> Link Style Profile ?

1. I login and re-installed the module on home page (restored the template) and it seems the error disapeared.

2. For considering about the slidedown panel when login I would suggest a separate module. Since from functionality point of view, this part is not belong to the AdvancedLogin module and either we can do a SkinObject or more flexibly do a module. Again, I think it is a good idea.
