Skin Issue AnnounceIT  (United States)
Hi,

I'm using your module on a DNN 4.3.7 install and when I click on a category, the module doesn't seem to remember the skin i've attached to the page or the module.  It defaults back to the default blue skin.  I've made sure that page and container skins have all been 'mapped' to skin I want to use, but that doesn't seemto fix the issue.

Can you please help figure out how I can correct this issue?

Thanks
Jerry

Re: Skin Issue AnnounceIT  (Indonesia)
The modle is not taking on the skin for tha page, but is using it's own settings to display the blue.

This ability to better control the look and feel is one thing planned for a near future update. Please stay updated with the update releases we send you. You will find this probably around early Feb.

Re: Skin Issue AnnounceIT  (United States)
I've found a work around, by copying my skin, container files over the the default dnn-blue folder, which seems to work, but now, I can't add another annoucment.  I can only add one annoucement to the category.

It does not actually sound like much of a solution if it is stopping the module working as it should. Can I suggest that you will have some level of sucess playing around as you are. Hoever you will get the best result by waiting for the "look and feel" feature improvements we plan to make soon.

Yes, it doesn't work very well.  So I shall wait for the update.  I noticed that .08 release on snowcovered.  Is this release you were referring to?  Will this release be made available to those purchased the module via the snowcovered patches and update section?

Thanks.

I think you mean the .38 release.  If you go to snow, you should be able to downlaod that in your download area now.

This is not the solution you are looking for though. We do not know the release number, but it will be middle of Feb atleaset for the release.

Re: Skin Issue AnnounceIT  (Canada)
Hi,

Will this next release allow us to define a skin when viewing the news item as it currently uses the default. If so, any idea of when it will be available. I'm launching a clients site soon and purchased the module for this client and would love more flexibility on the way the news item is displayed.

Even easier, I suppose, would be to show the news item in a popup window exactly like the one use for printing.

Thanks

Tony

Re: Skin Issue AnnounceIT  (Australia)
We have released a version that takes the skin applied to the page that the module is on and forces subsequent pages to load the same skin.

This has been a work around for the DNN core feature that forces the admin skin to display on all secondary pages.

The version with this new feature is: 04.02.01 and above.
