This module came at exactly the right time for me... good work!
I have some enhancement suggestions to make it even better.
First, I would want to be able to download the results straight off the site. The email option is handy, but definitely takes second place to having immediate access to the CSV.
Second, it's be very handy to have up/down arrows to sort the fields in the desired order right there in the module. This would also save a lot of messing around on the file afterwards.
Third, some applications don't want the header row on import, so it'd be great to have a tickbox to optionally not create the column header/row in the file. Again, this saves messing with the file afterwards.
Fourth - Optionally save to a desired location in the portal.
Sixth - Tie the output directly to newsletter modules, inlcuding your own of course. It would be perfect to be able to create a list of recipients with this module and then email them straight away without going through the download and uplaod procedures. Perhaps it could save lists to some sort of List Manager tool and the newsletter module would access them there.
Fifth - and this is a big one for me: I won't implement modules that require activation unless there is simply no other choice. It's a logistical nightmare, an internal branding and support no-no, and an operational risk. Therefore the I'm making a request to come up with a version without all of that in it and licensed for multiple-use on a single DNN portal instance.
