Showcase  (Australia)
Hi There

I am new to this forum so forgive me if this has been raised elsewhere.
Is there anywhere on this forum where users can showcase their sites built via this CMS. I know other cms's such as joomla have this and it is a good way for people to see it in the real world with all available modules working and functional.

Cheers
Shorty

Re: Showcase  (Australia)
I could not agree more. In each module forum we have requested that people tell us where they are using the module.

Got a big 0 on that.

Not one person from memory has ever advised us unless they want help. Most of our sites that we have done using our own clients have the modules locekd from members.

This is one site that does not.  http://www.wheelking.com.au/Announcements/tabid/204/Default.aspx

Thanks for the repy

Can you tell me if you design sites based on the DotNetNuke CMS, there sre references to DNN modules, skins etc so I assumed (may be wrong) that this refers to DotNetNuke.

If you do then there are some good showcase sites around.

Thanks again

Re: Showcase  (Australia)
Yes these are DotNetNuke site modules that we sell. However the sites we created are sometimes just based on the DNN system.

Often we take the CMS system far beyond the DNN functions.

The question is... are you looking for.
1. A cms system to sell yourself.
2. an example of a sexy site.
3. An example of a function based site

We have many sites that function great and are ok looking, and we have others that look great and do not need heavy functionality.

I guess... what exaclty are you looking for, and how do you want to use it?

Re: Showcase  (Australia)
I am not looking to sell a cms system

I want examples of well presented functional sites.
If I set up a site I would want a small amount of flash (frontpage mainly) and then just information about the company and the services (telecommunications) we offer.
will also want feedback form and maybe some other modules (undecided which)

Flash home and simple back end.

Both have advanced member management features too.

We now have a flash module called Flash Board.

Please have a look at: http://www.interactivewebs.com.au/flashboard
