Flash Module is a DNN (DotNetNuke) module that plays flash files without the “Click to activate the use of this control” that displays when you insert flash files into DNN using other methods. This module removes this annoying message for all people hitting your website.

WHY THIS MODULE
Anyone who has used DNN and placed Flash fla files into a page will know that the annoying message “Click to activate the use of this control” appears to users hitting you website.

 

Well quite simply we were ticked off with this message ourselves and although you can put code into the html to prevent this, the code it clumsy and requires a high level of user knowledge.

 

We we have developed this module to make this process...

 

Easy to use Easy to install Easy interface

Fast Remove the message Used multiple times on a page

Plays Flash Video .FLV We have added the ability for the mdoule to play standard incoded .flv files. Just select the file from your site and the module will action the video on page load.

Image in Place of Flash - We have added the ability to place an image in the module as well as the flash file. If a user of your site hits the module and they do not have flash installed, the module will detect this and give them the still image in place of the flash. This avoids big holes in your site for people without flash.

 

 

 
Simple to Install  As with all the modules we produce, this module will in install in all the listed versions (see below) of DNN with ease. A single PA install file makes the install and deletion process a breeze.

 

Small and Fast  Even though the module is feature rich, we have worked hard to keep the ASP.NET 2 code to a minimum. This means the module will run fast on DNN.

New Menu System We have created a simple to use menu system for configuring the module. This helps to keep the module easy to user for users who are new to DNN.

 

It Works Many of us have experienced frustrations with expensive modules that don't work. The either break or don't work as advertised.
